Description

Open Style Choreography is a dynamic dance program for teens ages 11+, designed for dancers who want to build confidence, musicality, performance quality in a fun and creative environment. No previous experience needed.

Classes combine choreography and movement inspired by a mix of street and commercial dance styles, including Hip-Hop, House, Vogue, Jazz-Funk, K-Pop influences, and other Open Style movement vocabulary.

Dancers will work on:

• Choreography and performance skills

• Musicality and rhythm

• Confidence and stage presence

• Coordination and body control

• Style, expression, and movement quality

• Learning to pick up choreography faster

• Strength, flexibility, and overall dance conditioning

 

The class has a feminine, expressive, and performance-focused feel, while still giving dancers strong foundations and room to develop their own personality through movement.
